What is the cheapest accounting software for freelancers in Germany?
The lowest entry price in the index is Lexware Office S at €7.90 net per month, but per its price page S only covers receipt capture and archive; invoices start with M (€12.90), bookkeeping with EÜR with L (€21.90). SumUp Invoices Plus follows at €8 on annual billing. sevdesk, Accountable, Papierkram and SumUp also have permanent free plans with limits.
Is there free accounting software for freelancers?
Yes, as free plans with limits such as the number of e-invoices. Full bookkeeping usually needs a paid plan. Tick “Permanent free plan” in the filter.
What is a good lexoffice alternative?
sevdesk, Papierkram and FastBill work in a similar way. Which one fits depends on DATEV export, monthly cancellation or a free start, which is exactly what this filter checks.
Where do the prices come from?
From our accounting price index. Every row was read on the vendor's public price page; the check date is shown per tool. Promo prices don't count.
Why is the "from" price not always the monthly price?
The finder sorts by the lowest paid price per month in the index, monthly or annual billing. For sevdesk, €8.90 applies with a 24-month term; paid monthly, the Invoice plan is €11.90.
